Guerrero becomes sixth summer signing

Fernando Guerrero has finally completed his move to Turf Moor from Independiente del Valle, becoming the sixth player to join the Clarets this summer.

However, he will only be with Burnley for an initial one year loan deal, although it is understood that the Clarets have the option to make the move permanent in May if Guerrero impresses in his time in East Lancashire.

The Ecuadorian winger, 19, impressed Burnley boss Owen Coyle during his trial on the pre-season jaunt to America, and is part of the squad that has travelled up to Scotland for two games this weekend. He will wear the number 32 shirt.

However, there are worries that the Clarets could be gazumped for the former Real Madrid man should he prove to be a success in English football.
